TAWA PULAO makes for so simple, easy and quick recipe. This dish is made with Precooked rice, onion, tomatoes, some spices and you can add some various vegetables like potatoes, capsicum, carrot, beans as you like. Usually rice pulao in use raw rice with vegies and spices are together cook but to make a tawa pulao we first precook rice separately and then the veggies and spice cook on tawa and last add cooked rice on tawa. Ingredients:
- Precooked rice 2 big bowls
- Butter / Ghee
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Tomatoes 2 nos
- Onion 1 no
- Carrot 1 no
- Potato 1 no
- Kanda-Lasun Masala 2 tsp
- Pav Bhaji Masala 2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt as per taste.
Recipe:
- First cook the rice on pressure cooker or pot. Let it cool.

- Prepare chopped veggies and ginger garlic paste for Tawa pulao. I used veggies like onion, tomato, carrot and potato, you can add other veggies as you want.

- Heat 2 tsp oil and 1 tsp ghee on tawa or you can use iron pot.

- Add mustard seeds, if they start popup then add cumin seeds

- After they splutter then add chopped onion and hing

- Onion cook until its turn golden color and add into chopped potato and carrot and stir it.
